1. Town Centre.
2. Our apartments and rooms of Casa Rosa.
3. Platja Gran in the corner of the bay with soft sands and gentle waters, this is the main beach of Palamos. Our Santa Marta apartment is about 100 metres
from Platja Gran.
4. Platja Monestri. The promenade goes round
the bay with beaches all the way to Sant Antoni and beyond. About midway is Monestri and our luxury apartment is about
50 metres back from the beach.
5. Sant Antoni A series of small beaches with breakwaters.
6. Torre Valentina Nice shallow waters and soft rolling waves.
And here you can keep walking along the coastal path to rocky coves and more beaches. Take a picnic and go snorkelling, or
find your own private little spot.
7. Cala d'els Pots Where they used to clean out the wine barrels,
a lovely little cove tucked in behind the marina. This is the nearest beach to Casa Rosa (200 metres)
8. Platja la Fosca You can walk or take the local bus from Palamos to
La Fosca. Our La Fosca apartments are about 250 metres from the beach on the Palamos side. La Fosca is like a separate
little resort. Just perfect. Soft sand and warm shallow water where you can walk out and play in the water. There are beach
bars and pedalos in the summer months. This is the beach if you want to lie topless: nobody cares.
9. Platja Castell This beach is a little further and more
for the walkers (also accessible by car). A few years ago the people of Palamos mobilised to protect this beach and its Iberic
castle ruins free from development. One of the last unspoilt beaches on the Med.
10. Cala Estreta This is fully two to three kilometres from Palamos
but there is a footpath leading to sandy coves and rocky outcrops. Some lovely little coves where you can find a private spot
for a picnic.
